HI, I’M MELISSA

A Lincolnshire family photographer that captures families in a bright, airy and timeless manner.

I want to create a relaxed and enjoyable family photo experience. I started my professional photography journey 4 years ago when I had my daughter so I understand how important documenting these moments are. I am available for family, maternity, cake smash and newborn sessions with a studio in my home near Grantham opening soon.

I am happy to come to your home to document these moments or help you find a gorgeous location in your local area.

…are so important for several reasons:

Capturing Memories: Photographs serve as a way to capture memories and freeze them in time. Family photos allow us to look back on important moments in our lives, such as weddings, birthdays, and vacations, and remember the people, places, and events that were significant.

  • My photography combines documentary or story telling moments with artfully captured and gently posed moments. As a mum myself, I know that children can be a bit unpredictable and it is important to let them express who they are. I love documenting these moments but also will gently guide them into soft poses to give you a beautiful mix of portraits and play.

  • I feel most inspired by Fuji400h film, timeless fine art imagery and storytelling. I love documenting moments and creating a mixture of artistically crafted images with a journalistic twist.

    When it comes to portraits, I will softly guide you through natural and organic poses that create portraits that feel natural to you.

  • As a lover of light, I love capturing photos with light glowing behind them. However, though my images are light filled and often described as soft and glowy, I wouldn’t necessarily describe myself as light and airy as I do love a little contrast. I show the images authentic to how they are captured and will always capture those images that tell the story of your day.
