Normanton Church is one of those places that you see and you cannot stop thinking about it. When I first moved to the UK, my husband told me he was going to take my daughter and I to Rutland Water, a lake that was manmade by submerging an entire village into the water. And Normanton Church is a striking landmark located on the shores of Rutland Water in the county of Rutland, England. This unique building has a fascinating history that spans more than 900 years, making it one of the oldest surviving structures in the area.
